Failure:Lab is an international movement that features personal stories of failure. By sharing powerful narrative from successful people we're eliminating the fear of failure and encouraging intelligent risk taking.
Failure:Lab | Event Series
Our special ingredient that makes us the most unique format in the world, is that we don't allow our speakers to share lessons, they confess a failure and walk off stage. We then invite each audience member into the story by crowdsourcing their lessons and publishing them online: failure-lab.com/lessons-learned/. In this way we're helping people to learn and grow from the untold mistakes of others, while removing mental roadblocks to innovation, communication, and community.
We’ve had a string of sold out events throughout the country and recently launched a digital platform with resources to empower organizers within communities to host their own. Our first independent event was held this past November in Chandigarh, India - at Chandigarh University with a sold out crowd of over 500 people. The idea of Failure:Lab has created a cultural shift in thinking globally, we now have 15 events scheduled for 2015-2016 and the number is growing daily: http://failure-lab.com/events/
Thus far we've featured 65 storytellers from around the world. We've given the stage to NBA & NHL players, Grammy winners, CEO's, rappers, principals, philanthropists, actors, entrepreneurs, mothers, and every day people. All of which live online and free here: http://failure-lab.com/videos/.
